It can also be used to form an electric eye score line for the calf or steer. With a range of 20 to 25 feet, the reflector electric eye can also be used for other events where the extended range of the Long Range Electric Eyes is not needed. Features Small and compact, the electric eye is only 1.5 inches deep. This makes it easy to keep the eye out of the way of the rider and the cattle. The mounting bracket attaches easily to fencing or panels. The bracket allows tilt and swivel movement for aligning the electric eye. Excellent performance even in direct sunlight. The eye’s range of 20 to 25 feet easily spans a rider’s box and steer alley. The electric eye does not require A/C power or batteries in the arena. Power is obtained from the signal cable that runs back to the timer in the announcer’s booth. Lights present on top of the electric eye show presence of power, eye alignment, and strength of the light beam.
